Pranayama For Relieving Constipation

Pranayama Benefits: Constipation is a situation where the excretory process of the body is stopped and the body feels a need to get rid of the waste matter. This can be caused because of the result of certain medications and also because of faulty food consumption. As a result of need to excrete the body finds other outlets like contracting a cold, eye disorders, urinary disorders, or earache. Also skin can show its fury by causing pimples and boils. Many other disorders do not strike the system if the intestines are kept clear.

Pranayama Exercises & Technique:

The best thing is to take an enema. But if the patient is weak or unable to do so take a cloth that has been immersed in warm water. Squeeze out excess water and wrap the cloth on the thigh joints below the navel.

Let the individual lie down wrapped in a blanket or sheet in warmth for some time.

Monitor the breath as per the time of the day or night according to swara science.

Let the person lie down for some time and repeat the process until the intestines are induced to excrete the faeces.

Also let the person drink two or three glasses of salted luke warm water.

This exercise relieves the body of constipation without any artificial laxatives.
