Pranayama Benefits: It is believed that this pranayama has the capacity to cure all ordinary fevers. This can help a person control hunger also so it can be beneficial while trying to control dietary disorders and excessive obesity.

Pranayama Techniques:

  1. Place the sole of left foot on the right thigh. Then sit in an erect posture.
  2. Place both palms on the knees.
  3. Keeping the mouth closed inhale through both the nostrils and perform poorak quickly.
  4. Without performing kumbhak perform rechak.
  5. This practice should be continued till one starts sweating profusely.
  6. After this to remove tiredness Urdhvareta pranayama should be performed.
