Pranayama Benefits: The practice of this pranayama makes it possible to be able to listen to the mystical inner sound also called the Anahata sound. It also improves the c oncentration tremendously. The mind becomes revitalized and the capacity to perform k umbhak also increases drastically.

Pranayama Technique:

Lie down in the posture of Shavasana.

Block out all external noise by closing the ears using cotton wool.

Concentrate intensely on the tip of the nose. Maintain this position for half hour breathing deeply after every short while.

Perform kumbhak every time a deep breath is taken.

Perform rechak very slowly after this.

Now shift the gaze between the eyebrows. If the eyes close in the process, let them.

Remain in this position and try to concentrate on listening to the inner sounds.

After a little practice one will be able to hear the ethereal inner sound also called the Anahata sound.
