Benefits of Yoga, Yoga Poses - Vrikshasana

Vrikshasana Benefits: Here the whole body is inverted so the brain draws more blood and gets energized. This yoga asana makes the chest, shoulders, neck, spine and back stronger. It improves the memory and energizes the whole body. It cures sterility and other genitor-uterine disorders. It cures the eyes of all disorders also.

Benefits of Yoga, Yoga Poses - Vrikshasana Technique:

  1. It is preferable to do this yoga asana on a firm mattress initially so that the individual is not hurt even if the balance is lost.
  2. Sitting on the knees, place the open palms on the ground with a distance of two feet apart.
  3. Put the entire weight of the body on the hands and raise the waist, hips and feet.
  4. Care should be taken to keep the thighs, knees and ankles together.
  5. Try to keep the posture for a short duration initially by keeping the weight of the whole body on the arms and wrists, without falling or losing balance.
  6. After coming to the normal position stand erect for about ten to fifteen minutes so that the blood circulation normalizes.
