Yoga Postures, Benefits of Yoga Asana - Vakrasana

Benefits of Yoga Asana - Vakrasana : Very good for the spinal flexibility, improves functioning of the abdominal organs and muscles.

Yoga Postures - Vakrasana Technique:

  1. While sitting legs are extended forward.
  2. The left knee is bent and put near the right knee.
  3. Then the right hand is brought forward and put over the right knee, while twisting the waist.
  4. The left hand is placed flat on the floor and the head is turned to the left.
  5. Care is taken to look to the left as far as possible.
  6. Now the process is repeated on the other side.
  7. Each side the position is held for sometime.
