Yoga Positions and Yoga Postures - Vajrasana

Vajrasana Benefits: it is believed that practicing this yoga asana makes the body strong as a vajra. It strengthens muscles of the lower limbs. This yoga asana also strengthens the digestive system.

Yoga Positions and Yoga Postures - Vajrasana Technique:

  1. Sit on the knees and heels under the hips.
  2. The big toe of the right foot should be on the big toe of the left foot.
  3. Sit with hands on the thighs with the head and spine erect.
  4. Stay as long as possible.
  5. Care should be taken to keep the knees close to each other.
  6. Alternately hold the big toe of the right foot with the right hand and big toe of the left foot with the left hand.
  7. Keep the chest straight.
  8. Hold position for as long as possible.
