Utthita Padmasana Benefits: It is beneficial for disorders of the stomach. The muscles of the limbs become stronger with this yoga asana. All benefits of the Padmasana can be had from this asana too.

Yoga Positions and Yoga Poses - Utthita Padmasana Technique:

  1. Sitting in Padmasana, place the palms of both hands on the ground.
  2. Raise the body on the arms without giving any jerks.
  3. The arms should not tremble.
  4. Inhale and retain breath for as long as the body is raised.
  5. Exhale when the body is lowered.
