Yoga Exercises and Yoga Poses - Shukasana

Benefits: This yoga asana makes the arms well built and strong. The muscles of the hands also get strengthened. It makes the spine flexible. It also improves the digestive process and strengthens the stomach.

Yoga Exercises and Yoga Poses - Shukasana Technique:

  1. Standing erect, join the heels and ankles.
  2. Exhale and sit on the heels, keeping the knees close to the chest.
  3. Place the fingers near the feet firmly.
  4. Inhale and retain the breath.
  5. Putting all the weight on the hands and raise the body.
  6. Touch the soles on the ground if breath needs to be taken again.
  7. Maintain position for as long as possible.
  8. Repeat the yoga asana a few times.
