Parvatasana Benefits: This yoga asana is very beneficial for the knee joints as it improves the blood circulation to the knees and lower limbs.
Yoga Positions and Yoga Poses - Parvatasana Technique:
- Sit in Padmasana.
- The arms are stretched above the head and joined in Namaskar.
- The hips are slowly raised so that the weight of the body is rests on the knees.
- The eyes are closed.
- The pose can also be used for meditation by advanced practitioners.
