Yoga Poses and Yoga Exercises - Padmasana or Lotus Position Technique:
Sit comfortably and stretch both the legs forward.
Hold the right foot with both the hands, fold the knee and place it on the left thigh.
Fold the left leg and place it on the right thigh.
Keeping the body erect place the hands between the heels one over the other.
The hands can also rest on the knees.
The knees and thighs should not be raised from the ground.
Sit and maintain this position for as long as possible.
