Padangusthasana Benefits: This yoga asana is extremely beneficial for the lower limbs and spine. It improves the blood circulation tremendously to the lower limbs.

Yoga Poses and Yoga Positions - Padangusthasana Technique:

  1. Sit in Utkatasana.
  2. Place the right foot on the left thigh.
  3. The hands may be placed on the knees or folded in Namaskar mudra.
  4. Slowly the body is raised so that the entire weight is balanced on the big toe of the left foot.
  5. Maintain posture for as long as possible and repeat by changing sides.
