Yoga Poses and Yoga Positions - Karnapidasana

Karnapidasana Benefits: This asana cures the ailments related to ears including deafness. All disorders of liver and spleen are cured so it is beneficial for internal organs of the body. It makes the back, waist, neck and full spine flexible, makes the body supple and strong.

Yoga Poses and Yoga Positions - Karnapidasana Technique:

  1. Lie down as in Shavasana. Bring both the legs together, and then raise them together towards the head as in Sarvangasana.
  2. Keep the arms stretched on the ground.
  3. Take the feet over the head and place them on the ground as in Halasana.
  4. Bring both the knees towards the ground and let them touch the ears. Press the ears with the knees.
  5. Hands should not be leaving the ground in the whole exercise.
  6. Maintain the posture for about thirty minutes, starting initially with one minute.
  7. While breaking the posture, care should be taken to release the legs slowly and come back to Shavasana without any jerky movements.
