Yoga Positions and Exercises - Kanthasana Or Brahma Mudra

Brahma Mudra Benefits: This asana relieves ailments of the spine especially of the cervical area. This asana is highly recommended for spondylitis.

Yoga Exercises and Positions - Kanthasana Or Brahma Mudra Technique:

  1. Sitting in Padmasana, bend the head as far back as possible.
  2. Inhale slowly and deeply while doing this.
  3. Exhale slowly and bring the head down so that the chin touches the chest.
  4. Inhaling, bring the head back to normal.
  5. Inhaling, turn the head to the right. Exhaling, bring it back to normal.
  6. Inhaling, turn the head to the left. Exhaling, bring it back to normal
  7. Care should be taken to do all the movements very slowly.
