Yoga Positions and Yoga Poses - Garudasana

Garudasana Benefits: It helps the nervous system and is curative for diseases like sciatica. It strengthens the nerves of hands and feet. Bones of the hands and legs also get strengthened. It cures the diseases of genitor-uterine organs in males like hydrocoele and swelling of testicles.

Yoga Poses and Yoga Positions - Garudasana Technique:

  1. Standing erect keep the right leg on the ground. Lift the left leg and take it around the right leg.
  2. Both the thighs should cross each other.
  3. Similarly place both the arms winding around each other so that the palms touch each other.
  4. The hands should be kept in front of the face.
  5. This asana is very beneficial for people suffering with some diseases.
  6. The duration can slowly be increased to thirty minutes.
  7. It is a very beneficial asana for all round strength.
