Yoga Poses and Positions - Chatushkonasana

Chatushkonasana Benefits: This asana helps improve the condition of the knee joints. The l imbs become very strong with this asana. The neck and spine also get adequate exercise with this asana.

Yoga Positions and Poses - Chatushkonasana Technique:

  1. Sit in Vajrasana.
  2. Stretch the right leg in front and remain seated on the bent left leg.
  3. Bend the right knee and balance it on the crook of the right elbow.
  4. Take the left arm around the neck.
  5. Interlock the fingers of the left hand with the right hand behind the head.
  6. Perform kumbhak or maintain normal breathing whichever is comfortable for the body.
  7. Maintain posture for some time and repeat by changing sides.
