Yoga Poses and Positions - Chatushkonasana
Chatushkonasana Benefits: This asana helps improve the condition of the knee joints. The l imbs become very strong with this asana. The neck and spine also get adequate exercise with this asana.
Yoga Positions and Poses - Chatushkonasana Technique:
- Sit in Vajrasana.
- Stretch the right leg in front and remain seated on the bent left leg.
- Bend the right knee and balance it on the crook of the right elbow.
- Take the left arm around the neck.
- Interlock the fingers of the left hand with the right hand behind the head.
- Perform kumbhak or maintain normal breathing whichever is comfortable for the body.
- Maintain posture for some time and repeat by changing sides.
