Sarvangasana Benefits: The main feature of this asana is that there is considerable pressure exerted on the throat so it is very good for the endocrine system especially thyroid related disorders. It is also good for vocal chords and throat muscles. It is also very good for circulatory system and congestion related disorders. It is good for the vertebral column.

Sarvangasana Description and Techniques:

  1. This is an extension of Viparitakarani.
  2. Here the body is raised further than in Viparitakarani till the body is absolutely vertical.
  3. The position is held for about three minutes starting with thirty second duration.
