Dhanurasana Description and Technique:
Dhanush means a bow. So in this asana body assumes a posture resembling a bow.
Lying with the face down on the seat, the feet are held with hands and the body is turned like a bow.
The position is held for a few seconds to a few minutes.
The knees should be kept together but it may be difficult for a beginner so one can start with keeping the knees apart.
The final posture should be tried to achieve after a few practice trials.
