Another breathing exercise for asthma patients involves deep breathing. You need to first deep breathe with one nostril, retain the breath for some time, and slowly exhale it.
The same step should be followed with the other nostril. Repeat this breathing exercise about 10 times daily to experience a positive and a healthy change.
The term kapalabhati has become extremely popular today as it is a common yoga asana which has many health benefits associated with it. This asana is beneficial for asthmatic people too.
To perform this asana, you need to have short and rapid episodes of breathing. This exercise controls the movement of the diaphragm and can help in exercising your entire respiratory system, thereby making it strong to naturally overcome the problem of asthma.
Yoga poses that involve bending your backs and forward bends are helpful for naturally treating respiratory problems like asthma. This is because such exercises help in strengthening your lungs.
