Many a times, no mater how hard you keep a check on your calorie counts, you end up piling up more kilos in your body, making you all more nervous and anxious. Feeding yourself with healthy food is undoubtedly an effective way for fit and slim trim body, but some other factors do affect your body weight. Some of them are mentioned below, just have a look.

Lack of sleep:
Remember when you don’t get enough sleep; your body goes through a physiological stress. As a result you end up storing more fat than ever, which results in a weight gain. So, make sure you meet your daily requirement of sleep to keep the weight under check.

Stress:
Mind it, that being under stress for longer period of time triggers bi-chemical process which slows down your body’s metabolism rate. In such a stressful condition, no doubt how much you take care of your calories, you definitely gain weight. So, always remember that stress causes weight gain around your waist line.

Medication:
Drugs and medicines taken to cure depression, migraine problem, blood pressure etc, too lead to weight gain in a big way. Such drugs affects your body system in many ways, at times, it increases your appetite or raises the insulin levels in your body. Mind it, that different drugs have different effects on your body and if you want to know which drug causes more weight gain in your body, you have to go and consult your health care expert.

Medical condition:
A deficiency of thyroid hormone, also known as hypothyroidism is one of the most common health conditions that lead to weight gain. Such medical condition decreases your body metabolism, causes loss in your appetite and lead to weight gain too.
