Monsoons are here with green lushes around making you more romantic, but don’t forget that the weather can spell lot of troubles on you in form of various ailments. This forces you to stay home while your heart cries out to take a long walk in the rain. No matter how tempting the nearby chaat wala appear to you, avoid it otherwise you have to suffer from various gastro-intestinal problems. Some food items are listed below that you must take to double your monsoon mania.

Turmeric fights against germs. Consuming one gm of haldi everyday is very effective for maintaining good health by keeping the infections at bay. Add few drops of water to it, roll it into balls and swallow it.

Honey form an excellent tonic for keeping your intestine sterile. It also aids in digestion process to carry out its functions properly and effectively. Intake of 1 to 2 tsp of honey helps in getting good and sound sleep at night, whereas consumption of honey with warm water in morning helps in detoxifying your body.

Garlic can never harm you in anyway. You can consume it either in form of chutneys or swallow it as a capsule. It helps in killing the germs thus making your body ailment free.

Just like above category, some foodstuffs are also there which you should avoid eating in monsoons like leafy vegetables, yoghurt and fruits.

In monsoon, our digestive system becomes sluggish that finds it hard to fight against various infections. The resistance power of our body gets slow.
