What to do when your child misbehaves

August 4, 2008

Are Unable to spend time with your child? Guilty of been incapable in fulfilling the demands-whether reasonable or unreasonable of your child? Mind it when your child once realizes your this weakness, it hardly takes time for them to throw tantrums on you to get what they want. This can be certainly very embarrassing for you every now and then when they behave badly. Here’s how you can deal with it.

The best way to deal with kid’s behavior is to use a positive and negative reinforcement. If your child behaves well, give him a green card and when he doesn’t, give him a red one. At the end tell him, the green cards he has, the higher will be his chances of getting what he wants, otherwise not. Also tell him that one red car will mean four green cards.

If your child misbehaves in public, don’t ever fly into a rage. Tell him that his behavior is unacceptable. Still if he carries on with the same behavior and attitude; wait till you get back home to teach him a lesson. After reaching home explain him patiently why he should not behave so.

Remember that there are various reasons for your child misbehavior. You pay attention to these reasons and try to find out the exact one by consulting his or her friends, teachers and fellow mates. Remember that a physical ailment may result in a bad temperament too.

Make sure you tell your child in advance about the various aspects positive attitude and advantages of good nature. Tell him how to stay in disciplined state and mind his manner in various occasions by himself or herself. These things are very important that can help in building a good character and a great mindset.
