What are you drinking this summer season? Read out!
Undoubtedly the scorching sun’s rays are back! It is very important to beat the scintillating heat of summers to keep yourself fresh and bright all day long. Here are some mouth-watering summer’s sippers for you all, just choose your drink and bang the summer season.
Sattu
Sattu is often called as poor man’s diet. Sattu can be a very palatable delicacy for all. It is generally extracted from barley, gram, or wheat and is easily available. It provides energy instantaneously, checks heat strokes, quenches thirst and raises the tolerance to beat heat. Make a sherbet of sattu, fresh lemon juice, rock salt and roasted jeera.
Aam panna
A traditional preparation of roasted or boiled raw mangoes, this is a great digestive aid and an instant energy infuser. It also helps prevent heat strokes, dehydration and dryness of mouth and tongue.
Jaljeera
A blend of herbs, with cumin powder and mint as the main ingredients, this super- drink combats flatulence and abdominal colic and also boosts appetite and checks bad breath.
Khus sherbet
It pacifies aggravated pitta dosha, promotes urination, checks thirst, checks hemorrhagic conditions and combats foul smell of sweat. It is a great stress buster and induces sleep.
Coconut water
It’s highly alkaline and good source of potassium. It is tasty, nutritive and improves stamina.
Watermelon juice
It’s very cooling and checks excessive thirst, vomiting and hypertension. It is very beneficial in urinary tract infections.
Lemonade
It checks thirst, difficulty in urination, vomiting, sunstroke, diarrhea and liver infections. Liberal consumption of lemonade cures foul smell due to profuse sweating.
Rose syrup
This is a fragrant cooling preparation that reduces sweating and nourishes the body as a whole. It helps alleviate aggressive temperaments, ensures optimum digestion and also acts as a very effective cardiac tonic.
