Ways to Reduce Excessive Sweating
Sweating is a normal process of regulating the body’s temperature. However, there are people who face the problem of excessive underarm sweating. Though excessive armpit sweating is a problem faced by many, very few talk about it due to fear of social embarrassment. However, this problem needs to be cured to avoid foul smell and visual display of your sweat. Excessive sweating can be caused by various factors like hormonal changes, exercise, infections and also due to stress and decline of sex hormones. However, there are some natural and simple methods by which you can naturally cure the problem of armpit sweating.
First of all, get into the habit of using antiperspirants or talcum powder after every bath. The former helps in preventing the excess sweating of your armpits. However, before using, you should check whether you are allergic to antiperspirants or not as the latter can lead to skin allergies and rashes if it doesn’t suit you. You can also use deodorants to subdue the foul smell.
What you wear plays a crucial role in body’s sweating mechanism. If you have excessive sweating problem, you should avoid wearing dark colored or tight fitting clothes. Instead wear loose and comfortable clothes with fabrics which allow your body breathing space. Underarm hair holds sweat and can make the problem worse. Thus, it is a good option to get your underarms shaved to prevent bacteria build-up. You also need to keep a check on your stress levels to check your sweating.
After all, stress can aggravate your sweating mechanism thereby worsening or even triggering the problem. Thus, relax yourself through meditation, yoga or simple breathing exercises. People with more fat tend to sweat more. Thus remain fit and get rid of that extra flab to avoid this sweating problem. Last but not the least, watch your diet as that plays an important role here. Particularly, avoid oily and spicy food to naturally reduce excessive sweating and its related problems.
