Ways to protect yourself from theft while on holiday

July 31, 2008

Make sure you do not carry precious jewelry or anything that you can’t bear to lose.
It is very important that you pack as light as possible as this will reduce the fear of things getting lost up or robbed off during your holiday. Also, it is much easier to keep an eye on your stuff when you are not carrying too much stuff with you.

Make efforts to fit in the place where you are out on a holiday. This is because the less you look like a tourist; the less likely you’ll be targeted for robbed purpose.

Make sure you make two to three copies of all the important documents before you depart from your home to go on for a holiday. Leave one such copy of all documents with somebody you deeply trust while carrying the other set of copied document with yourself while traveling. Just do not forget to keep these copies separately.

Always wear a inside your clothes. Also, spilt your valuables too. Keep little amount of money in your all pockets, so that if money from one pocket gets lost, at least you have chances of surviving with leftover money. Same with your valuable too, if something happens, at least you stand a good chance of keeping at least some of your valuables with you.

Most important keep your eyes open 24*7.Make efforts to open up with outside people, Became aware of them and don’t forget to use your instincts. Make sure you stay in a well populated place and a well lit area too. Avoid walking on lonely roads at night time and even in day time also. Just stick to crowded area whenever you plan to travel in a new place.
