The best way to prevent stomach infections is by paying thorough attention to your eating habits. Do not eat oily, fried and heavy food, especially during summers. Stay light as that helps in keeping you active and your digestive system healthy. You should particularly keep your dinners light. Also, you must keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
In addition, you should ensure that you eat fresh food. Avoid stale food and thus cook only that much of food that is consumable in a single meal. Carry forwards should be strictly avoided in hot weather conditions.
This is because food usually gets spoilt when left open in hot conditions. Thus, you must refrigerate food and not leave it open in summers. Also, avoid eating salads that are kept in open for a long time.
Another important tips for preventing stomach infections is by following basic hygienic steps. Always wash your hands before meals as that helps in removing any germs from your hands. Also, always check the expiry date of packaged food items before you purchase and consume them.

By following the above given tips, you can prevent yourself from getting various kinds of stomach infections. In case you are suffering from this ailment, then you can try out some simple natural treatments.
Take an ORS solution if you are suffering from vomiting and diarrhea. In addition, increase your intake of fresh fruit juices, lime water, yogurt and soups.
