Ways to keep your relationship alive

February 21, 2009

With Valentines Day around the corner, you must have made special arrangements for your beloved. But as a couple, you should know that you should not wait for February 14th to tell your partner how much you love and care for them. Read this article below, that will certainly guide you on effective and smart ways to keep your relationship alive.

Share your thoughts with each other. You can always a leave a romantic note for your partner in the morning, send a flirty text message or e-mail or leave a sweet voice mail fro the phone. Trust me, these tiny acts of appreciation and love surely brightens your partner’s day and yours too.

Never underestimate the power of complimenting each other. Do you know that taking a moment from you whole busy day to tell your partner that he or she looks nice today can go a long way in developing a strong bond between you two? Do you know that allowing him or her to start the day with an extra confidence boost will make you feel good too? So, don’t think much! Start complimenting your partner for his or her positive side and see the effect yourself.

Give in once in a while. On special occasions, let your partner choose something he or she enjoys but you may not. You may be surprised how good it feels to give selflessly and end up having great time with each other. Certainly your partner would love you for your support.

Recall the favorite memories of the times you both spent together and enjoy doing them again.

Try to be thoughtful gift giver. The best gifts aren’t the most expensive ones, but those that make the other person feel special. Think hard before buying something for your partner.
