Ways to keep tab on your health
When it comes to healthy living, it’s time to be pro-active, especially if you are a woman. So before things become to late for you to deal with ailments, just make sure you include the following food items in your diet as they will keep a proper check on your health and at the same time keep the ailments like breast cancer, cervical cancer, sexually transmitted diseases at bay.
Soy:
You will be glad to read that soy is an excellent food item for having healthy bones. So make sure you have regular intake of soy in your diet. Soy will prevent hormone related cancers like prostrate cancer, breast cancer and colon cancer. Not only this, soy also relieves you from menopausal symptoms.
Legumes:
Do you know that legumes such as Bengal gram are rich in folic acid? Legumes provide you a greater protection against colon cancer.
Green vegetables:
Don’t think twice before including green leafy vegetables in your diet. Green leafy vegetables like spinach, methi, bitter gourd etc are rich in vitamin A and provides your body with lots of iron content. Thus they are best in strengthening your immune system.
Milk:
Make sure you include milk and all other dietary products in your daily diet. They are highly rich in calcium content. Osteoporosis is a quite common problem among women and causes substantial bone loss and also leads to fragile bones. So, milk helps in building peak bone mass and ward off osteoporosis. Not only this, milk and dietary products like curd etc help in proper functioning of heart and muscle activities.
So being a women, you stay watchful as there are lot of health problems that may crop up especially after you hit your puberty. The easiest way to keep these aliments at bay is by including the above foodstuffs your daily diet.
