Stress is the new buzz word in the current scenario. Be it an eight year old kid or a forty year old executive, everyone feels suffocated by the mounting tensions and stress.

If you see a mounting pile of pending work you are bound to get stressed. Chart out a plan of action for the day and complete pending task within due time. Organize yourself. Prioritize your work and set aside time accordingly.
Eat healthy and balanced diet. Your eating habits contribute to your stress levels. If you are eating unhealthy food, it is likely to harm your physical and mental well being. Body burns energy to cope with stress. Hence it is essential to maintain roper intake of nutrients in daily diet.
Be realistic and set attainable goals. Don’t set goals that are unrealistic. It will make you feel worse if you are unable to achieve them. However it does not mean that you should underestimate your capabilities but at the same time do not expect too much from yourself.
Keep some time for your personal and spiritual development. As a human, your life has a higher purpose. Don’t let the mundane pressures take away the purpose of your life. Spend time with family and friends. Entertain yourself by going for vacations or a movie. Indulge in singing, dancing, painting, or whatever gives you pleasure. Let your hidden talents unleash themselves.
Learn to forgive and stop brooding about the past. The past is meant to be forgotten. Don’t let the worries of the past strain your bright future. We all have our share of problems in our life. Face them courageously.
