Ways to avoid bingeing

First and foremost it is very important to identify that what trigger you to eat when it comes to food for avoiding the habit of bingeing. Some people overeat when they felt lonely while some at social events or festive occasions. Try to find your reason along with the ways to fight with that situation.

Make it a habit of not bringing any type of unhealthy food such as cold drinks, noodle, white bread etc to your house. Just keep the stock of healthy, low-calorie stuff like nuts, juices etc full at your place, so that you can depend only on healthy food when hunger strikes your stomach.

Try to avoid shopping for eatables and food related items when you feeling down and anxious. Resist the temptation of shopping at sad moments. At such moments, person catches up every eatable item coming into his or her mind without giving any single thought to its nutritional value. So, a negative feeling becomes one of the main triggers that force you to feed yourself with too low nutritional food in large quantities.

Make sure you avoid spending time around the people who have casual views regarding food and dieting. Such people can indulge you in poor eating habits, and make you eat more than you really want. Instead, keep the company of those people who are active and concerned abut their health. You can take tips from them and share your ideas too on ways to avoid negative eating situations.

Make sure you do not eat your food in front of television. Just concentrate on your food; otherwise you may feed yourself with more stuff than what is required.

You can also, bring a dish to a party where you have been invited to. This will give you and other guests a chance to at least eat one healthy food option.
