Dust you car on daily basis because bugs, droppings and chemicals from atmosphere can strip away the car wax coating and can eventually eat the paint. Remember that if layer of dust is left on for too long, it can lead to damages that would require the repainting of your car. Weekly washing of car can help in eating your car’s shine for long period of time.

For washing your car, never make use of household cleaning agents like detergent, soap and aid-based cleansers. Instead make use of car wash product, which is mild in nature and is specifically made for the purpose. Use soft sponge or lamb’s wool mitt to wipe the car’s body. Avoid using the same sponge for the body and the car’s wheels. These washing products can be easily brought from your local market.

Avoid washing car when is body is hot. This is because heat speeds up the drying of soap and increases the chances of developing spots. While washing, move the sponge lengthwise across the body and no in circles, as this motion can create light but noticeable swirl-like scratches. Rinse the entire surface with water before pouring the car wash liquid.

For drying your car, do wait water to dry itself, or let wind to do the trick for you. Use chamois leather or a soft towel.
