Want To Know What’s Affecting Your Brain Cells-Just Read It Out!
Exposure to lead toys or paint
Do you know that lead poisoning is a common factor for chronic health related problems in your body? In our homes, the paints remain the most common cause of lead poisoning, but it’s not only on walls. Even children’s toys also contain some amount of lead. children who are in age group of between 0-5 years suffer from this as they have a habit of putting toys into their mouths along with the paint particles that have fallen on the floor. Such lead poisoning can cause developmental problems, learning disabilities and mental retardation. It has been proved that being exposed to lead once is equivalent to at least 5 years of brain damaging.
Smoking habits
Don’t be surprise to hear that smoking kills brains cells and also stops the production of new ones. Chronic smoking affects the nerves cells and alters the chemical makeup of the brain. All those who take nicotine suffer from 50 percent higher loss in a production of new brain cells than who do not smoke. Plus they also have higher rate of brain cells death. So try to keep a red alert on your smoking habit. If you are smoker, work hard to kick this habit. But if you are smoke-free, Stay that way and also encourage smokers to quit.
Going without water for long time
Depriving yourself without water can shrink your brain. Do you know that your brain cells consist of 85 percent of water? Water is necessary to transport various things across cells. Without sufficient water in brain, ions may get disrupted thus damaging your brain badly.
By reading the above factors, you must have got to know that how these little things can affect your brain in a damaging way, so try to avoid them as much as possible.
