Want to color your hair

March 17, 2009

Hey girls are you saving pennies to treat yourself to coloring job? Then don’t wait much! Head to a wholesaler of beauty products and ask for pure colors, the one that need to be mixed with peroxide. Thinking about some funky colors like purple or green? Keep in mind that you need pre-lightener, to lighten your hair before coloring it. Here are some different styles of coloring mentioned below-have a look!

Weaving or streaking is the most widely used technique. Take a box section on the top of the head. Leave half an inch from the hairline and make thin section using tail comb. Now, like you weave the cloth, weave the tail comb in and out of the hair. Pick the hair above the tail of the comb and let go of the hair beneath. Place them on a piece of foil, remember to close the section of hair from all sides, but don’t flatten the foil. The chemical requires some space to develop.

For slicing, take a box section and make thin horizontal sections within it. You can even use two tones-say light and darker brown- alternatively. This type of coloring looks almost random when compared to weaving.

Another way is by picking up random chunks of hair. Separate the lock and use a more prominent shade such as ash blonde or purple. Brush the color evenly to ensure it doesn’t become patchy. For those who like to change their color frequently, use a pre-lightener that bleaches hair. Apply and wait till hair turns light. Wash and dry your hair and apply the color.

If your hair is of light color, give them subtle yet visible change by adding lowlights. Weave the hair and dye them in a darker color to break the monotony.
