This can be in turn attributed to long hours of standing which generally occurs in a woman’s life along with other factors like obesity, pregnancy, hormonal changes and heredity factors. In this condition, veins lose their ability to push blood upwards to the heart which in turn leads to the settling of blood in certain areas of the veins.

The natural preventive methods include keeping one’s weight down as obesity is one of the major factor which contributes to this disease.

Moreover, brisk walks and jogs are helpful in strengthening the veins of the leg. One should also wear support hose especially during pregnancy and should avoid prolonged standing hours.
