Uses of Vinegar

Vinegar is a common ingredient found in almost every household. But do you know the various benefits vinegar can be put into? Read below and find out for yourself.

We all know about vinegar as a cooking ingredient. But along with cooking, vinegar also has a lot of uses and benefits in other fields. It is used as an easy and effective cleansing agent. It can be used to clean appliances and machines. Whenever you want to clean normal household appliances like coffee maker, washing machines or iron, you can use vinegar. For instance, to clean refrigerator, you just need to mix white distilled vinegar with water and clean the refrigerator with it. Similarly, bolts, nuts and other items which get rusted can also be easily cleansed with vinegar.

You can keep your stainless steel spic and span by using vinegar. You just need to clean such stuff with a cloth dampened with vinegar. In every household, there is a problem of getting rid of tea and coffee stains. We all search for ways to get these stains off. Vinegar is one such common available item in every household that can help you out. All you need to do is fill the cup with vinegar at night and then wash with hot water the next morning. You can also use vinegar to deodorize your kitchen and also get rid of clogged drains.

Along with the above given uses, vinegar can also be used to treat certain diseases and infections. You can relieve a sore throat using vinegar and you can also use it to naturally get relief from sunburns. Sunburns can be painful and applying vinegar to the affected portion can provide relief from such pains. Along with sunburns, vinegar can also be used to get rid of itching and additionally, you can also get rid of upset stomach by adding two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and then drink that mixture.

Thus, vinegar is a versatile element which can be used for various purposes.
