Understanding the Cause behind Chronic Anger
Do you often remain isolated from people due to your chronic anger which restrains people from coming near you? Without realizing, this chronic anger might be creating bridges between you and your near ones. However, it is not necessary that anger is always expressed as many people suffer from the problem of suppressed chronic anger which in turn can lead to various health hazards. Instead of neglecting the importance of happiness in your life, understand what leads to this problem of chronic anger so as to effectively remove it.
If your chronic anger has its roots in early childhood, then there is a high possibility of it being associated with some sort of trauma- physical, emotional and even sexual. Children who have suffered from any sort of trauma grow up carrying anger, anxiety and even guilt deep in their hearts which often gets expressed or suppressed in the form of chronic anger. Moreover, if a child receives more reproach than encouragement from his parents, then he might develop a behavior of aggression and anger. In addition, certain hyperactive children also grow up into adults with immense anger and uncontrolled emotions. Children who have not had their emotional needs fulfilled in their infancy or young days look at the world as unsafe and threatening. They develop a condition of basic anxiety which gradually develops into chronic anger which actually stems up from emotional inadequacy.
Another major cause behind chronic anger is the relation between frustration and anger. When you feel frustrated due to inability to attain what desired, anger is one common reaction. When failure turns chronic and when your continuous efforts fail to produce desired results, then chronic anger is the most likelihood result.
The major cause which underlies the problem of chronic anger is some sort of emotional or psychological one. Thus, instead of dismissing people with chronic anger, try to understand the cause behind it to treat it with mere basics of love and attention. In addition, yoga, meditation and de-stressing exercises can all prove effective in this direction.
