Types of Cardio Exercises
If you want to remain healthy and in perfect shape, you must exercise regularly. To word it in a different way- exercise is the key to the lock of a healthy, happy and disease-free life. We all know the drawbacks of an unhealthy lifestyle; extra fat not only makes you unattractive, but also puts you to risk of various diseases, especially those related to the heart. Given below are some helpful cardio exercises which will help you remain healthy and in shape.
There are various kinds of cardio exercises which can be grouped into two major types according to their intensity and effect. These include slow and steady cardio exercises and high intensity cardio exercises. As the name suggests, the former focuses on low intensity but long duration exercises and the latter is all about high intensity at a shorter time. Both these groups of exercises are helpful in their own way and one should choose the kind of exercise according to one’s stamina and personal preference. Given are some cardio exercises which help the most in burning maximum calories.
We all love walking. Walking is a form of cardio exercise which is less strenuous in nature. However, by walking, we mean brisk walking as that can help in burning around 180 calories in just about 30 minutes. Similarly, swimming, bicycling, running, and step aerobics are other effective cardio exercises. Whatever be your interest, just convert it into a healthy interest which will yield long term benefits. That is to say, if you love bicycling, then do it regularly so that you burn lots of calories and also increase your resistance.
There are cardio exercises for people of all age groups and with varying interests. The kind of exercise you choose should be according to your taste so that you enjoy it and do it religiously for long term health benefits.
