Treatment for hair growth
Well-kept and thickly grown hair adds to the personality of the wearer. But to have a healthy growth of hair, one must first understand to preserve and take care of what is already bestowed by nature. Here are a few tips to prevent the loss of natural hair.
Avoid unhealthy practices
The use of blow driers or any other device that employs hot air for drying or curling up of hair should be discontinued. Continued application of these appliances causes hair to lose their natural luster, dries them up, and causes them to become brittle and thus prone to breakages.
Discard your fine plastic combs as they induce static charge. Further, such combs result in entangling and knotting your hair rather than straightening them up. It is advisable to be using wooden combs instead. They reduce the volume of falling hair because of less static charge.
Adapting to the following healthier practices encourages the growth of new hair.
It is important to provide nourishment to your hair. It can be achieved by the application of oil on the scalp. Hair oil is necessarily needed to have healthy shining hair. It provides nutrients to the hair and keeps them moisturized.
Do not use hot water for washing your hair. It damages the strands.
Periodic trimming is needed to keep your hair at manageable levels that facilitates proper upkeep and cleanliness.
Massage and washing of hair
Measure an equal amount of olive oil, almond oil and coconut oil in a bowl. Mix all the ingredients together. Massage your scalp with a warmed up mixture thus prepared. Wrap up your bunch of hair with long enough cotton towels to cover all the hair. Let it remain overnight for better results before washing in the morning. If you find it too impractical to keep it overnight, surround your hair with a warm steamed towel and allow it to remain there for at least an hour. The warmth makes the scalp and hair slightly warm.
Washing should follow up the above. In case of oily hair you may use slightly warm water followed by a final rinsing with fresh water. Dry hair should always be washed with cold fresh water.
