skinrashesAs the name suggests, Toxic Shock Syndrome is a problem in which your bloodstream gets infected with toxins and these toxins in turn get circulated to the entire body via blood. These toxins in the body are caused by specific bacteria. It is a serious medical problem which can be fatal.

When your blood gets infected with toxins, it leads to blood poisoning and can thus cause symptoms like high fever, drop in blood pressure, and even failure of some organs. In addition, it overestimates your immune system and thus produces symptoms of shock in the body.

A weak immune system can make you vulnerable to this problem. In addition, skin infections too can lead to this problem.

Toxic Shock Syndrome is usually caused by bacteria whose strain can be found in regions like your mouth, nose and vagina. When the toxins produced by such bacteria like Staphylococcus aureu enter the bloodstream, it leads to this medical problem which is extremely dangerous and fatal too.
