Cleaning your gold jewellery
Use a soft toothbrush and soapy water for cleaning your gold jewellery. Even a dish washing liquid can be utilized for the cleaning purpose.

Dip the toothbrush in soapy water and use it to get into all of the cervices. Clean your gold jewellery piece properly from both back as well as front side. Take care of loops while cleaning. Clean up in an effective manner from sides as well.

If you want you can also buy non-abrasive jewellery cleaner from market and use it for cleaning purpose. If your gold jewellery piece is studded with gemstones, then it would be wise that you use a cleaner that do not affect these gemstones in any damaging way, while providing a sprawling shine to colorful gemstones

Rinsing your gold jewellery
After cleaning, rinse your jewellery piece in Luke warm water. Make sure that this water is clean and free from any dust particles. Keep the gold jewellery piece under water until water runs down clear from it.

Drying your gold jewelry
Buff your jewellery piece dry using a soft –lint free cloth to make it more shiny and sparkling. Proper drying is very important part of taking care of your gold jewellery. Make sure when you keeping your gold jewellery back, there is no trace of water on it, otherwise it may get damaged. If moisture gets left on your jewellery it can cause the springs and clasps of your jewellery piece to get weak over the time.

Avoid wearing your heavy gold jewellery twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Keep them for family functions and festive occasions. They will appear more beautiful then and even wont lost their luster due to daily wear and tear.
