Tips for Increasing Height

Do you often wear high heels to make up for your short height? Many women, especially teenagers are particularly worried about their short height as height determines the overall personality of a person. Thus, there is rise in height increasing pills and medications as often advertised by the commercials. However, this doesn’t work for everyone as every individual has different body structure and instead on relying on medications, one should try out some natural ways.

Height of a person is determined by various factors like genetics, hormones and nutrition. Humans usually grow faster as infants and toddlers and there is also a growth spurt in terms of height and weight during puberty. Usually, it is said that girls usually grow till the age of 16 and boys till 18. However, there are certain ways by which you can increase your height. Like it or not, balanced diet is one of the pivotal requirements for healthy growth. Even if you are short due to genetic factors, you can considerably increase your height and enhance your personality through intake of well balanced healthy diet. Exercise and exercise if you want a taller and smarter look. Stretching exercises, particularly those of limbs and spine, are helpful for increasing height. You can also indulge in other outdoor activities like swimming, cycling and jogging as they all aid somehow in increasing height to some extent. Have a proper posture and indulge in aerobic as well as anaerobic exercises as they all aid in release of growth hormone. Did you know that if you don’t get adequate sleep, then you might be restricting your height? This is because adequate sleep ensures relaxation of brain which in turn ensures better release of growth hormones.

Follow these simple basic tips so that you attain your desired height and personality.
