The perfect way to break off your relationship

September 12, 2008

It is indeed very important to break off your relationship in a graceful manner just like approaching your girl/boy for proposing her/him for the first time. Just do little bit of planning and more sensitive to lessen the trauma of a heart break. Just go through the following points that can help you to break off your relationship in a better way.

If you are the one who has moved on and want cut off the ties with the other who is still emotionally attached to you, then ask him/her that you want to discuss out something serious, so join me on a dinner. Make a plan immediate to erode any kind of possibility of suspense on the part of your partner. Choose a venue where you can spend time without any kind of disturbance to freely communicate the stuff to him/her. You can’t expect to talk about what’s wrong in your relationship with burger in your hand. Isn’t it?

You can also take along an objective third party like a friend or a close family member with you. But before taking anybody, make sure to take permission from your partner for the same. Such a person can keep the discussion on the track and also stop it from escalating into a blame-game. Even if emotions run high at any pint of discussion, the third person can always ask the other person to leave.

If you both think that your relationship is heading nowhere and a break-up can be a relief, then make a firm mutual decision instead of lingering on the details. But in case, things are different, then it is the duty of the one who is moving on to accept the blame on his/her shoulders and also to describe why relationship has no future, why it has lost its charm.
