Tasty Christmas cake recipes

Hey people, here are the recipes of tasty Christmas cakes- make sure you prepare them on Christmas Eve and celebrate the festival with lot of joy and delight.

Christmas walnut and raisins choco cake
Ingredients:

200 gm flour, 100 gm butter, 240 ml condensed milk sweetener, 140 ml milk, 2 tbsp sugar, ½ tsp soda bicarbonate, 2 tsp baking powder, 2 ½ tbsp dark chocolate powder, 2 tsp chocolate essence, 3-4 drops chocolate color, ¾  cup chopped walnuts, ¾ cup raisins

For preparing icing:
1 cup butter, 2 cups icing sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice

For decoration:
¾ cup dark chocolate flakes, 1 cup red deseeded cherries

Method:
Beat condensed milk, sugar along with butter till light and fluffy. Keep it aside.
Sieve flour along with soda bicarbonate, baking powder and dark chocolate powder thrice. Mix chopped dry fruits to the Maida mixture.
Alternatively add Maida mixture and milk to the condensed milk mixture. Keep it aside. Use cut and folds beating method to avoid lumps. Add essence and color in the end.
Grease baking tin and sprinkle little flour in the tin and pour the mixture. Preheat oven and bake at 350 degree F for 45-50 minutes till light golden brown. Mix the icing ingredients and beat lightly. Spread over the cake and decorate with chocolate flakes and cherries.

Date and walnut cake
Ingredients:

½ tin  milk maid condensed milk, ½ cup oil, 250 gm dates, ½ tsp soda bicarbonate, ½ cup finely chopped walnuts, 85 gm Maida, ½ tsp vanilla essence, 1 tsp baking soda

Method:
Remove seeds from dates and chop them finely. Add 6 tbsp of water and keep on low flame for 2 minutes. Remove from fire. Add ½ tsp bicarbonate. Keep aside for 15 -20 minutes.
Mix Maida with baking powder. Transfer to a big bowl. Mix dates and walnuts with Maida.
Beat oil and condensed milk well.
Add essence and Maida. Beat well.
Place tin on the wire rack of the oven. Bake in the preheated oven at 150 degree Celsius or 300 F for 45 minutes.
