Symptoms of Hormonal Imbalance in Women
Many women suffer from problems associated with hormonal imbalance in the body. Such problems can be associated with puberty, menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause.
Diet, stress, intake of birth control pills, and problems like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome are some causes that can lead to hormonal imbalance in women. This article will throw light on some of the common symptoms of hormonal imbalance in women.
Hormones are extremely vital for the healthy functioning of the body. Any imbalance of hormones in the body can result in symptoms which can be associated with physical, psychological, emotional, or behavioral changes in a woman.
A woman who displays frequent and extreme mood swings could be suffering from the problem of hormonal imbalance. Along with mood swings, hormonal imbalance in the body can also lead to fluctuations in sexual desire.In addition, it also leads to depression and anxiety.
Women suffering from hormonal imbalances often complain of chronic fatigue, weakness, and even frequent headaches. Such women are low on energy levels and often start developing disinterest in daily activities of life.
They also experience a dip in their concentration and grasping levels.
According to medical research, many behavioral changes like anger, sadness, or aggression can be symptoms of hormonal imbalance in a woman.
Women who suffer from hormonal imbalance also display symptoms like weight gain and water retention in the body. In addition, facial hair growth and fibrocystic breasts are some other symptoms.
It has also been found that women suffering from hormonal imbalances can be affected by problems like osteoporosis and uterine fibroids. Many skin infections and unexplained skin irritations can also be symptoms of hormonal imbalance in the body.
One should thus pay attention to the above given symptoms of hormonal imbalance in the body so that timely remedial action can be taken.
