Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

chronic-fatigue-diseaseIn today’s stressful life, the problem of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome has come into limelight. As the name suggests, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a problem in which the person affected faces severe fatigue and a kind of mental and physical exhaustion over a long period of time.

The main cause of this problem is mental and physical stress for a prolonged period. Given below are various symptoms associated with this problem.

The most common symptom of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is fatigue, weakness and burnout for a continuous period of 6 months or more. The person affected lacks the energy and freshness and often complains of constant fatigue and exhaustion.

Exhaustion is both physical and emotional and the person affected by this problem often complains of the inability to undertake any physical activity due to lack of energy.

Along with fatigue, there are various other symptoms that are associated with the problem of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Sore throat is one such symptom as the person affected often experiences soreness of throat for a long time and often without any specific reason.

Sore throat can often be accompanied by chronic cough. In addition, pain in back, shoulders and in the back of neck are some other symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

Many people suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome display symptoms like enlarged lymph nodes and headaches which are often chronic. In addition, this problem can also lead to the person affected often forgetting things due to chronic fatigue and lack of freshness of both mind and body.

Along with the above given symptoms, other symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome include bloating, irregular heart beats and even unexplained weight gain or weight loss.

Thus, given above are the various symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and if you experience such symptoms for a long time, you must get yourself checked by a doctor.
