Sumptuous Snacks For You All-Try Them!

Chatpate peanuts

Ingredients:

500 gm peanuts, 125 gm besan, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp garam masala, salt,  ghee or oil for frying

method:

Pour all the masale or seasoning in besan and prepare nice batter of this with water.

Heat oil in a pan and dip peanuts in the prepared besan batter and then fry them in heated oil.

When the besan start changing color and becomes crisp, take them out.

Soak the excess oil from peanuts using tissue paper.

Serve.

Gathiya

Ingredients:

500 gm besan, 125 gm ghee or oil, pinch of soda-bicarbonate, salt to taste

Method:

Mix besan, methi, salt and soda-bicarbonate to prepare nice dough from it. Use oil for preparing dough.

Pour this batter in gathiya maker.

Heat oil in a pan and keep dropping gathiya in it using gathiya maker.

Fry them till they turn crisp and brown in color.

Soak the excess oil using tissue paper.

Serve.

Rice pakode

Ingredients:

250 gm rice, 1 ginger piece, 2 green chilies, some coriander leaves, 1 tsp garam masala, ghee for frying, salt to taste, pinch of soda-bicarbonate, ½ tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder

Method:

Soak the rice in water a night before.

Next morning, sieve the rice from water and place it in sun outside.

When rice gets properly dried out, make a nice paste of it in a blender.

Add pinch of soda-bicarbonate and other seasonings to this rice paste. Also add chopped ginger, coriander leaves, and green chilies to it. Mix well.

Add water little by little and keep stirring to make a nice batter.

Heat ghee in a pan.

Prepare small pakaode from the rice batter and fry them on low flame in ghee.

Serve hot with chutney.
