Sumptuous pulao recipes-read out!

Basmati pulao
Ingredients

1 cup basmati rice, 1 cup sugar, a pinch of kesar, 3-4 cardamom, ½ cup ghee, ¼ cup mixed nuts( raisins, dry coconut, chopped almonds), silver foil

Method:
Wash the rice with water and pour them into pan to cook. When they get half cooked, take them off the flame. Drain the water.
Add sugar, kesar and cardamom powder to the boiled water to make nice syrup.
Heat ghee in another pan and fry the above water drained rice. When rice gets light brown in color, add the prepared syrup. Also add mixed nuts
Cook on low flame till rice gets totally soft.
Garnish with silver foil and chopped almonds.
Serve hot.

Paneer briyani
Ingredients
:
2 cup basmati rice, 20 fm diced paneer pieces, 2 chopped onions, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp saunf powder, 1 tsp garam masala, ½ tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 piece of dalchini, 4-5 cloves, 7-8 black pepper, 4 tbsp oil, 2-3 cardamom, 1 lemon

Method:

Wash the rice and soak them into water for ½ hour.
Heat oil in the pan and fry paneer pieces in it.
Prepare a paste of red chili powder, garlic, ginger, coriander powder, saunf powder, garam masala in a bowl. Add 1-2 tsp water to this paste and blend well.
Heat the oil in another pan and splutter jeera in it with cardamom, cloves, dalchini, and black pepper.
Sauté the onions in pan. When onions turn golden brown, pour the prepared paste and sauté it.
Add the soaked rice with salt and paneer. Also add 3 cups water and cook on low flame.
When rice gets half cooked, add ½ lemon juice. garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
