Sumptuous parantha recipes
Chana dal parantha
Ingredients
50 gm flour, 4 tbsp ghee, 150 gm chana dal, 5 gm chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, chopped coriander leaves, salt, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp anaar dana powder
Method
Add all the seasonings in chana dal; add salt and sauté this dal paste in a pan till it turns bit brown in color.
Add salt to flour and prepare nice dough.
Prepare parantha from it and fill the above dal mixture in it. Fry them on tawa from both sides and serve hot with chutney and achaar.
Onion parantha
Ingredients
250 gm flour, 1 tsp anaar dana, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, pinch of hing, salt, 100 gm onion, green chilies, 1 tsp dry coriander powder, 50 gm ginger, coriander lees, 4 tbsp ghee.
Method
Add chopped ginger, coriander leaves to onion slices. Add all the seasonings.
Now sauté the above mixture in pan till the color changes to golden brown.
Add salt and ghee to flour and prepare nice dough using water.
Prepare parantha and fill the onion mixture in it.
Fry them on tawa from both sides.
Serve hot with chutney and achaar.
Green chana parantha
Ingredients
250 gm flour, 25 gm onion, 2 green chilies, 1 tsp red chili powder, coriander leaves, 150 gm green chana, 1 inch ginger piece, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp dry coriander powder, salt and ghee
Method
Add ghee and salt to flour and prepare nice dough.
Make paste of green chana in a blender.
Also make paste of coriander leaves, onion, and ginger with green chilies. Mix both the paste and add all the seasonings.
Sauté the above paste in a pan in ghee.
Prepare parantha and fill the above mixture in them.
Fry them on tawa from both sides.
Serve hot with chutney and achaar.
