Sumptuous jellies for your kids

Here are some sumptuous jelly recipes that I am sure your kids would love to eat! So don’t think much, just try them in your kitchen cabinets!

Orange jelly
Ingredients

20 oranges, ¾ sugar in comparison to total amount of orange juice

Method
Peel off oranges, de-seeds them. Chop them into small pieces
Add the orange pieces in water and bring it to a boil.
Sieve the orange juice through thin cloth.
Prepare thick sugar syrup and add to this juice.
Pour it into a bottle and seal it. It’s ready to serve.

Apple jelly
Ingredients

2 kg apples, 2 lemons, 1 ½ kg sugar

Method
Wash apples, peel off and de-seed them
Chop them into small pieces and add to the equal quantity of water in pan. Place the pan on flame and bring it to a boil.

When apples get soft, sieve the apple juice through a thin cloth. Add lemon juice and sugar to this juice.
Cook this juice on low flame and keep stirring it.
When it becomes thick in consistency, pour it into bottle. Let it cool down and then seal it. It’s ready.

Mixed fruit jelly
Ingredients

2 kg apples, cherries and peach, 250 gm sugar, 2 lemon, 1 kg water

Method
Chop apples and peaches. Place them into boiling water. Sieve this solution through a thin cloth and then add sugar and lemon juice to it. Cook on high flame.
When it turns thick, pour them into bottle.
Cool them in refrigerator and serve.

Milk jelly
Ingredients

4 cup milk, 4 tsp sugar, 3 tsp gelatin, some lemon

Method
Add all the ingredients in a steel utensil and bring it to a boil on high flame.
Keep stirring it with a spoon till all the gelatin dissolves. Keep it aside to cool down.
Pour the solution in moulds and freeze them. Serve.
