Styling Tips For Bride-To- Be

December 11, 2008

Hey all you fashion lovers, bikini tops, halter-necked blouses and bold blusterer had made sari look more oomph! So, all you brides –to- be just get naughtier with your attires. Think and stunned the world with your raunchy saris.

A sari is a most versatile garment for the Indian bride. A blouse is the soul of a sari, be it a corset, halter, know style or a bustier. Mind it that a sexy embroidered blouse can give you a glam look.

As far as the colors for this wedding season are concerned, red is no longer the color for bride. Red has been toned down with peaches, pinks, greens, lemons, oranges and even black and white. Fish cut lehengas have replaced the traditional straight cuts. Lehengas are slowly being shaped like a gown. Don’t think of burdening yourself with zardozi! Try out a look that makes you traditional yet glamorous.

Instead of wearing sari and lehengas in all your functions, experiment your looks with a trendy suit. Go for a modern kameez which has a corset fit and wear it as a dress by teaming it with a churidaar to give a total stylized look.

Cholis are daring these days. They come in different shapes like bikini tops, tube tops, thin straps and lots more. A low-waist ghagra can look elegant with lots of pleats and layers plus a bright colored stole completes the look. Indian bride are not open to the idea of trying new things in her attire. If you are a funky bride, then try a flowy dhoti pants with embroidered kurtis. It can give you a chic look and make you appear trendy.

Don’t let your bridal makeup be loud and flashy. Just keep it natural and subtle. No glitter and no shimmer.
