Some Special Non-Vegetarian Items For You
Chicken curry
Ingredients
1 medium size chicken, 100 gm onion, 150 gm tomato, 100 gm curd, ginger, garlic, salt, coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, masala, ghee.
Method
Chop the chicken leg pieces with water.
Heat oil in a cooker and sauté onions in it.
Pour ginger, garlic paste, tomato and curd in it. Sauté them well.
Now add turmeric power, red chili powder, coriander powder and chicken leg pieces in it. Sauté the leg pieces till they turn red in color.
Add water and salt to the cooker and cook it with closed lid.
Cook for 5-7 more minutes after the pressure comes.
Take it off from cooker and let it cool down.
Serve hot after garnishing with garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves.
Tandoori murg
Ingredients
1 medium size chicken, 2 tsp lemon juice, 4 tsp curd, ½ tsp black jeera, 2 cardamoms, ghee, onions, garlic, salt, red chili, garam masala, masala as required.
Method:
Make a nice paste of ginger, garlic and onions. Add them in curd and mix well.
Pour this paste on the interiors as well as exterior sides of chicken.
Let it get dry for five minutes.
Add jeera, salt, red chili powder in lemon juice and spread it on all sides of chicken.
Keep the chicken aside for one hour.
Roast the chicken now in tandoor with the help of sticks.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala.
You can eat this with onions and salad leaves.
Shami kabab
1 cup chana dal, 250 gm keema, 1 onion, 3 green chilies, 3 garlic cloves, ½ inch of ginger, ¼ tsp lemon juice, ¼ tsp jeera, 4 cloves, ¼ tsp dalchini powder, ¼ tsp black pepper owder, chopped coriander leaves, salt, ghee.
Method:
soak the chana dal night before. Next morning, make a nice paste of it in a blender.
Chop the onions, garlic, ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves in small pieces.
Add all the masala in it except for lemon. Add dalchini.
Prepare small balls from this batter.
Heat oil in pan and fry them in it.
Serve hot with tomato, cucumber and onions with chutney.
